Riot of Colour 1 & 2 - an original diptych — two 25 × 25 cm mixed media paintings on slim wood panel, created as companion pieces that speak to one another across the wall.  

Together they create a dynamic, balanced pairing — circular tension meeting angular force — united by a colourful shared palette and the same expressive, layered hand.  I had great fun creating these two, using a combination of acrylics, textured paint and then pastel.  They have also been coated with a protective matte varnish.
